Lore & Ark Reactivation
You open your eyes inside a structure you do not recognize. There is no memory. No name. No explanation. Only the low, almost imperceptible hum of something ancient coming back to life.
You do not remember waking up.
You only remember being awake.

The Ark
This is the Ark.
An autonomous structure of unknown origin, suspended above the planet and moving endlessly along vast streams of ancient energy.
Its architecture is neither entirely mechanical nor entirely organic. Alien technology is intertwined with patterns that resemble ritual, mathematics and something older than either.
You do not know who built it. You do not know why it still moves. And you certainly do not know why it chose to awaken you.
The Ark does not speak.
It does not explain.
It simply moves.

The Forgotten Civilization
The Arks are not new.
They are remnants of a civilization that vanished so completely that even its name has been lost.
Across the planet, buried beneath layers of time, stand structures that share the same impossible geometry. Ruins. Chambers. Dungeons. Places that look abandoned, yet somehow feel as though they were built yesterday.
The resemblance is impossible to ignore.
The same patterns. The same materials. The same strange energy.
Perhaps the Arks came after the civilization disappeared. Perhaps they were built by it. Or perhaps the Arks are what remains of that civilization.
The Ark behaves like a machine.
But machines are not supposed to choose.

The World Below
Beneath the Ark lies a world that appears to have been abandoned.
The surface is scarred by time. Ancient structures emerge from wastelands, buried chambers remain sealed beneath the ground, and energy anomalies continue to pulse through places that should have been dead for centuries.
The dungeons are not natural formations.
They were constructed.
Something lived here. Something built these places. Something left them behind.
Every expedition brings you closer to understanding the planet. But with every answer comes another question.
The Echo
When the Ark detects a structure within teleportation range, it does not send you there.
It sends something else.
An Echo.
A cloned body carrying the equipment you choose to take with you. It looks like you. It moves like you. It remembers what you remember.
For a while, it is you.
Until it dies.

The Cost
If the Echo is destroyed, your consciousness does not disappear.
The Ark simply creates another body.
You wake again aboard the Ark.
Alive.
But not untouched.
Everything the Echo was carrying is gone:
The abandoned body does not remain. Whatever lives inside the dungeon eventually takes care of that.
The Ark preserves your consciousness.
It does not preserve what you lose.
Teleportation
Teleportation is not limitless.
The Ark can only project and retrieve an Echo within a certain range. And because the Ark never stops moving, that range is never truly stable.
A dungeon that was safe to enter can become impossible to escape.
A few minutes can change everything.
You may find the entrance platform and return immediately. Or you may push deeper, searching for something more valuable.
Greed pulls you forward.
Survival pulls you back.
The Ark will not stop for you.

Ark Reactivation
When you first awaken, the Ark is barely alive.
Most of its systems are dormant. Others are damaged. Some appear to have been deliberately shut down.
As you explore the planet and bring resources back aboard, dormant systems begin to respond.
Restore the Ark's ability to project and retrieve Echoes.
Detect structures, anomalies and hidden signals.
Improve the reliability of the bodies created aboard the Ark.
Restore conduits and uncover more of the Ark's ancient systems.
Some systems only need to be awakened. Others must be repaired. Eventually, you will install modules that were never part of the Ark in the first place.
Reactivation is not simply progression. It is the slow awakening of something that has been sleeping for a very long time.

Fragments
Deep within the dungeons are fragments.
Some appear to be pieces of data. Others resemble memories. Some cannot be identified at all.
The Ark can interpret them. Sometimes.
Each fragment may reveal something about:
The deepest fragments are hidden where few Echoes can survive. Reaching them requires equipment, preparation and something harder to acquire.
The courage to keep going when you finally realize
that you may not like the answer.
The truth is not given. It is assembled.

The Future
The first journeys will be lonely.
But the planet is too large to remain empty forever.
In future phases, other Arks will appear across the same world. Each one will belong to another player.
When their paths cross, the world changes.
Conflicts will not necessarily happen in real time. Systems, positioning and preparation will determine the outcome, while cinematic reconstructions reveal what happened.
Early players will explore the world.
Advanced players will begin to shape it.

Movement. Mystery. Consequence.
You are a clone. Your body is temporary. Your consciousness survives. Your Ark is ancient. Your purpose is unknown.
Every dungeon hides a fragment.
Every fragment brings you closer.
Every answer makes the next question more dangerous.
The Ark will not stop for you.
You must learn to move with it.
