Arkrising Echo is an independent game project built around a simple idea: create something genuinely different by combining exploration, strategy, mystery, and constant pressure.

Founder & Game Developer
Arkrising Echo is led by Diego Degrà, a developer with over 30 years of multidisciplinary experience in software development, production workflows, and creative design.
The project is driven by a hands-on approach to development, combining technical experience with a strong focus on gameplay, worldbuilding, visual direction, and the creation of a distinctive game identity.
Arkrising Echo is an independent game project led by a single creator with over 30 years of multidisciplinary experience in software development, production workflows, and creative design.
The project is supported by a network of external specialists who contribute to specific areas such as video production, audio design, and original music. This approach keeps the creative and technical direction focused while allowing the project to benefit from specialized skills when needed.
The goal is not simply to build another mobile game, but to develop a world with its own identity — one that can evolve over time together with its players and community.
Arkrising Echo aims to merge two worlds that are rarely combined: the strategic depth of idle and city-building systems with the tension and immediacy of FPS dungeon exploration.
The game is designed to maintain constant pressure on the player. Inside the dungeons, time, danger, and limited resources shape every decision. Outside them, the Ark continues its journey, creating limited opportunities and forcing players to constantly consider whether to push deeper or return to safety.
This dual-layer structure is at the heart of Arkrising Echo. Exploration is never completely safe, progression is never completely guaranteed, and every expedition carries a consequence.
The project embraces modern tools, including artificial intelligence, as part of the creative workflow. AI is treated as a tool, not a replacement for human creativity — much like a graphic tablet, digital brush, or other technology that expands what a creator can achieve.
For a developer who deals with dysgraphia, AI can also provide practical accessibility support, helping transform ideas into visual assets, prototypes, and other forms of communication that would otherwise be considerably more difficult to produce manually.
The artistic direction, concepts, worldbuilding, gameplay systems, and creative decisions remain human-driven. AI is used to support experimentation, iteration, and production rather than to replace authorship or creative direction.
This philosophy is grounded in respect for artists and creators. AI is approached responsibly and transparently, as an accessibility and productivity tool that can empower creativity.
Arkrising Echo is being developed as a long-term project. Its core systems are designed to provide a foundation that can grow over time, from the first playable experience to more advanced Ark systems, deeper exploration mechanics, and eventually multiplayer features.
Development priorities, milestones, and planned systems are documented separately and updated as the project evolves.
